$100 to a million in 3 years

I think i've given up.

I decided to start some new hobbies and have really been enjoying them, even though they don't make me any money.

I can't seem to play more than 1/2hr without getting really bored and wanting to donk off my chips and go and do something else.

I haven't played for nearly a month online. I have played some live dealers choice which i really enjoy but grinding it out online might just be over.

I have been through times like this before though and then gone on extended poker binges so never say never.

  • I wondered why the blog had gone eerily quiet sir. Do you think that you're just bored of poker or could it be your challenge is too long term and you can't see the end of it? Maybe a $10k in x days could be the answer?

  • aup yorkshire.

Really bored of it. The roll is a little under 10k and i'm deciding what to do with it.

Have considered just having a massive punt at it but i've never sustained any success playing out of my roll, i may just use it to qualify for the world series and play some side events but the annual pilgrimage to glastonbury may get in the way so i'm not sure about that either.

I'm going to give it a few weeks and i may get the bug back.

Chopped a live tourney last night for £1300 so i still got it in tournaments i think, i just can't get myself up for grinding an hourly rate in cash games.

  • It seems a lot of people are falling out of love with the cash games. I really think that the influx of the short stack donkeys and multi-tabling PT and PAHUD users are suffocating the games, even at the micros which I play.

You've obviously got a talent mate and one that is going to keep earning you cash. If only I could crack it!

Hope to see you back at the tables but I'm sure you'll make the right decision for you.

    GL sir
